Nurse residency program
Upon hire at Lancaster General Health, all eligible new-to-practice nurses are automatically enrolled into the Nurse Residency Program. The program provides exceptional support and resources to new graduate nurses. To learn more click here.

Educators
To help support nurses regarding educational needs and competencies, LGH employs a team of educators. The educators provide comprehensive educational services, consultation, and continuing education services by providing instruction in the clinical settings (teaching, mentoring and coaching). This includes participating and assisting in the facilitation of each unit's orientation program.
