I chose nursing because I wanted to do something meaningful to me and to others. 

This is how I live my legacy. 
Working at LG Health has enhanced my nursing knowledge, my compassion and respect for patients. I enjoy what I do every day and at the end of my shift, I feel satisfied. That’s very important to me. I am very happy to part of this organization. 

I live my passion by listening to my patients. 
Something I make part of my daily routine is that I listen carefully to my patients and make sure I am there for them. I make sure I am present in supporting my patients. When I see my patients in the morning and review the care plan, I always ask them if they understand the plan and what will happen. I ask patients what they prefer and collaborate with my team to make sure we are meeting patients’ needs. 

LG Health helps me be my best. 
We have strong communication between our nursing teams and leadership. I feel that our leaders listen to us. Nurses are empowered and involved in decision making, and there is constant communication about improving patient care. Nurses are supported in the advancement of our careers and education. I feel privileged to work in a system that is so encouraging and empowering of nurses. 

I am empowered to give my best. 
LG Health understands that good nursing requires collaboration, and it encourages and empowers just that. There are several interdisciplinary teams that bring together expertise to benefit patients, from nursing, to medical staff, case management, social workers, and others. LG Health is a great environment for nursing.
