Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health is seeking a BE/BC Endocrinologist to join a diverse, collaborative outpatient group in Lancaster, PA. The practice consists of 6 Endocrinologists, 5 diabetic nurse practitioners who work independently and in collaboration with physicians and 1 in-house diabetes educator and insulin pump trainer.
This group sees a wide array of endocrine disease, with an equal balance of diabetes and non-diabetes patients. Diabetes in pregnancy is managed by the diabetic nurse practitioners (type 1 diabetes) and Maternal fetal medicine (type 2 and gestational diabetes). This group is committed to patient-centered care and aspire to provide the highest quality, most compassionate care for our community and sees 36 hours of direct patient care each week. Outpatient call only that is divided among 8 physicians as well as a highly customizable inpatient and outpatient EPIC electronic medical record and supportive and experiences ancillary staff.
As part of the University of Pennsylvania health system, based 1.5 hours away in Philadelphia, our providers can provide seamless referrals to specialists in pituitary surgery, thyroid and parathyroid surgery, thyroid cancer, and neuroendocrinology
Requirements
- Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Medicine (Allopathic/Osteopathic)
- Completion of an accredited Endocrinology fellowship
- Interest in gender-affirming hormone therapy welcome, but not required
- Possess or able to obtain an unrestricted PA Medical License
- Board Certified or Board Eligible
