Summary
POSITION SUMMARY: Associate Chief CRNA provides anesthesia services to patients of Penn Medicine Lancaster General Hospital, assists with onboarding of new CRNAs, and interviews candidates for new CRNA positions. Works with administration to complete FPPE/OPPE/Annual Evaluations. Acting Chief CRNA when the Chief CRNA is not available. Collaborates with the Chief CRNA, Lead CRNAs and Associate Director of Advanced Practice, Anesthesia Services.
HOURS: Fulltime, 1.0 FTE. The allotted FTE for this position will be 0.6 FTE Administrative and 0.4 FTE Clinical. Primarily dayshift Monday through Friday with off hours as needed by the department. No holidays or weekends.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Board Certification by NBCRNA
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing
- A health care provider in good standing with Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal and state health insurance programs, i.e. not excluded from participation in Medicare, Medicaid or any other federal or state health insurance program.
LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS, AND CERTIFICATIONS:
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master’s Degree in Nurse Anesthesia and two years of CRNA experience
- One plus year of leadership and/or managerial responsibility
